Google Chrome Browser
You hear the word Google used as a noun, verb, and even an adjective. Larry Page and Sergey Brin created Google in 1998 at the age of 25 while they were students at Stanford University. Google is now one of the most widely-used search engines on the web. You can use www.google.com with almost any browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.), but it has the most functionality in Chrome (Google's browser.)
- To login: Go to www.google.com and click Sign In in the top right corner. Use your gcloud.tisd.org account.
- If you log into Chrome, your bookmarks and extensions will follow you to any computer or device you use where you are logged in to Chrome.
- When you first log into Chrome on a PC, you may be asked if you want to link your Google data to your Chrome data. If you choose to link the data, you will be signed into Chrome and Google with just one login.
- You can change your settings in Chrome by going to the Settings menu.
